Danny King
The Performance Academy at Magna is led by Danny King, one of Canada's most distinguished golf instructors and players. Danny is a top-50 golf instructor and a four-time Teacher of the Year nominee. He was also named the 2016 Canadian PGA Player of the Year. With his extensive experience and expertise, Danny’s coaching philosophy goes beyond just the golf swing—he incorporates mental coaching, nutrition, and fitness to help golfers maximize their performance both on and off the course.
Danny and his dedicated team have developed a variety of year-round programs designed to support golfers at all levels, providing a comprehensive approach to skill development and performance enhancement.
David Fritz
Under the guidance of David Fritz, a two -time U.S Kids World Champion coach with over 100 tournament-winning students. With over 20 years of dedicated coaching in high-performance golf programs, David Fritz brings a wealth of knowledge and invaluable experience. His deep understanding of the sport and his unwavering commitment to developing aspiring golfers have earned him widespread respect in the golfing community.
As Director of Instruction at the David Fritz Golf Academy, David’s passion and dedication to improving every student’s game will undoubtedly prove invaluable.
Mark Hoffman
It can be argued that Mark Hoffman stands at the pinnacle of great collegiate golfers who have ever teed off for the Humber Hawks. In addition to his impressive playing record, Mark’s newest passion—coaching aspiring golfers—has proven equally valuable. His ability to communicate effectively and help players reach their full potential underscores his dedication to the game and to developing the next generation of golfers.

Lexie Mckay
As a graduate from Western University, Lexie’s championship-winning team secured the OUA title, earning seven individual titles along the way. As team captain, I discovered my passion for mentorship and leadership, which ultimately fueled my desire to coach. Now, as I transition from player to coach, I’m excited to share the knowledge and experience I’ve gained over the past 15 years to help golfers elevate their game.
Lexie’s coaching philosophy takes a holistic approach, focusing on technical skills, mindset, and body mechanics so you can see real improvement where it matters most: on the course.
John Sawatsky

John Sawatsky has over 24 years of experience in the golf industry, focusing on custom club fitting and building, with 5-years of specialization in putting instruction.
John is a certified level 1 Quintic ball-roll instructor, providing highly accurate, data-driven analysis of putting strokes.
John’s coaching approach is rooted in precision and personalization, aiming to build a strong putting foundation and enhance every team member's individual goals.
